Our Journey of a different type for 2015

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Our Journey of a different type for 2015

Post by Ros20549 »

Hi Everyone, yes we are still here :) but life has thrown us a very big curve ball this year so have been a little pre- occupied. Our journey this year will be helping our eldest daughter Kiara fight the battle of her life :( at 38 years of age you don't expect to be doing this  :( it is going to be a hard journey but we all remain positive that we can come out the other end OK. First they have to put a name to the tumour which is proving to be quite rare before they can start treatment so far this has taken 6 weeks  and we are getting nowhere, they just can't get the right answers, they need this to get the right treatment plan in place, we keep hoping that no news is good news so fingers crossed we hear something today.
Mean while we are taking the opportunity while home to get a few things done around the house that need doing and to keep us busy.
We have transformed our little backyard from grass to a great paved courtyard with some 1500 pavers and garden beds, has been a big job and a few little things still to complete before we can say its finished.
Please keep us in your hearts and thoughts and to all the others fighting a hard battle hang in there its all we can do.
Will try and upload a few photo's of the yard in a few days.
I will pop in here from time to time to keep an eye on you motley lot. and a few updates if you would like.

Cheers Ros.

I think we all need to have a positive attitude to life in general but especially when dealing with health problems, hope that your daughters treatment is 100% successful & she is soon fit & well again, Best Wishes.

Ros, I have just added you and Kiara to my prayers list. I hope you get some good answers very soon, it is the not knowoing that is the hardest, so hang in there. Remember you have friends here who are all too happy to lend that ear when you need to talk, so don't let it get you down. A problem shared is one we can all help with.
Good luck and good health for Kiara. xxx

Just get out there and enjoy life

Ros,

What a hell of a thing to happen, and especially to someone who has all of life in front of them. So sorry and thinking and hoping.
