Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning all, another warm one to-day. Had to grab a throw rug for the feet during the night.
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

I have just had a 'session' with Noggins and my Telstra WiFi "Elite" thing is now working, and it replaces the other Telstra dongle/dingle/doodle thing that was plugged into the side of the laptop.
The new "Elite" thing ( now about 6 or 7 years old ) is sitting in the kitchen bench out of sight.
I have another (spare) one available if I wear this one out because the grandkids each gave me one.
I am now having fun playing with my thing !!.

Well the laptop was delivered today, but it was the wrong one--'
They sent me an Aspire Intel i3 2.50GHZ, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, 15 inch laptop, Windows 10, by mistake.

I don't know what all of these numbers represent, but they offer a full refund or I can keep this (new to me) one.
Any advise welcome from those who know about these things.
.Keith.

Keith, what model did you order?

An i3 2.5Ghz processor is a little old.

Found it.

Ordered:
Acer Aspire E5-571PG Intel i5 2.4 GHZ 4GB RAM 1TB HDD 15" Screen Windows 8.1

Received:
Aspire Intel i3 2.50GHZ, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HD, 15 inch laptop, Windows 10

Acer has a the next gen processor; i5. However, you may not notice the difference if you use the Aspire
Aspire has a smaller hard disk (500Gb vs 1000Gb); unless you're saving lots of movies, you may not fill the 500Gb
Aspire has the most recent software; Windows 10.
The Aspire CPU clock speed is a little quicker

both have the same memory.

Because the Aspire has windows 10, it may be the "newer" model.

Keith, it sounds like they are pretty close for the average home user doing emails. Possibly, press them for a $100 refund and keep the Aspire.... They'd burn that up in shipping costs anyway.
