Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, we are private, but expect to be treated like people first n foremost. Enjoy the fence preparations and sorting , Dot. xxxx

Robert, it is becoming a joke, just to get an appointment, never mind actually getting reasonable treatment. My specialist appointment is in March too. They are squeezing me in at the end of a day, to help fit all the patients in. Thankful for a quick thinking gp who wrote on the referral that I needed treatment to get back to earning a living.

Today, I stayed up away from the shed so that I could get the phonecall from the xray place with an appointment for steroid injection. When it became 4PM and still no call, I rang them. "Can't help, the nurse is the only one who can make that call and she has already gone home". I am sure that you all could see the steam pouring from my ears. I will be ring at 10 am tomorrow if they haven't already called. Peed off, is putting it mildly.

Dot where were you when we finally had some activity around here? Oops, sorry, I know they won't let you past the borders. Never mind xxxx

So what was the excitement. It's another glorious sunny day. Of course all the loonies are out in force in their fancy speed boats. I was working in my shed when I heard an explosion, sounded a bit close. Went to investigate and this is what I found.

Angry birds was suffering from quite a large engine fire. All people on board were safely out, but shock was on their faces. Poor things. Anyways the local fire brigades, water police, water police fire boat, fire trucks, police and a couple of ambos all had something to chat about tonight. Later a truck from the fire hazardous waste department arrived and we expect they took what was left of the boat away. It was certainly gone when we wandered down a little bit later.
As the firies got the fire under control, some of our local ducks went to investigate.

Dot, hope you are staying cool there mate xxxx

Robert, it will never be a boring year when you have us around for entertainment! ;) ;)

Had another quiet lair day with not as much excitement. But there is always something to watch on our crazy lake. We are so lucky to be able to watch it all unfolding, amazing sunsets and eejits on jetskis, never a dull moment.

nighty night xxx

I reckon that you can't beat a decent sunset over the water. We don't get that up here, too many hills. But we get some good sunrises. All like just about anywhere, too many clowns on watercraft. Luckily, the water police are fairly active around here, especially on weekends. The fisheries guys seem to be a bit more obvious these days as well. Good morning Dot!
Cheers

Lake Macquarie is peaceful, surreal, during the week most of the year when it does come alive weekends & holiday times it is enjoyable to sit & watch folk, it is an awesome location to live, the sunrises & sunsets are magical.
The g'son has been enjoying catching & eating bream, think he has really taken to fishing.

Deborah, being close to the boat ramp guess you would get more activity in your location, we don't get many jet skis in our bay.

Missed last night, went to sleep on the chair  Lost another friend yesterday, she had had MS for the past 20 yrs and her husb was her care giver. She was full of fun and never let things get her down. She was banned from their local supermarket as when her hands were shaking badly the little wheelchair went everywhere and plowed through the displays  Then sometimes she would spot a nice looking mans bum and as her friend guided the chair past she would give the guys bum a cheeky pinch. She ended up in hosp with pneumonia and was also diagnosed with the big C, she had had enough and slipped away peacefully. Quiet day today. So I am going to soak in a nice warm bath so I shall say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Dapope x :D

Sorry re your friend Dot, I had a friend whose daughter was diagnosed with MS at 25, she was a navigator in the Air Force, ended her career & marriage a short time later, sad.

Our sunset tonight, after a great washing day. :D

Night all I had a great night after the cricket working on my train layout. Still can not get the wife off her sewing machine. From curtains to a shirt for the daughter. O well each to their own.

Cheers and good night. Robert
