Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
Hello everyone. The showers and light rain is finished at Dysart so waiting for the Queensland sunshine to dry out the grass ready for the mowing act later this week. It is Thursday and the exciting action today is the wheely bin truck calls.

We decided to come to the block for a night or so. Coming along a very bumpy narrow part of the road (double lines) a small car passed then slowed right down, I put the bus lights on and bugger mw the old bast--- slammed his brakes on then took off like a bat out of hell. I had to slam the brakes on and stuff went everywhere. The dash cam was on so now we have to figure out how to put it on this machine because I will be taking it to the coppers. WTF was the stupid twat thinking??? Anyway it is nice and quiet here tonight so I shall say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks & Mr Major xx :D :D No news is good news Shirley. I would be ringing the GP and ask if your G sons results are in???

Dot, don't waste your brain cells fiddling with the camera. Just take it to the station as is. There is sure to be a young copper who can sort it out for you. Try not to tape over it tho. Good luck with it and enjoy the country air xxxx

Kiln did another slow run today, Looks like another of the paperweights has split and until I can lift out the top shelf, I wont know what's left. There is one on the top shelf that looked pretty good.

The rain that we are getting is horrible. Today we had a flash shower of almost an inch. It was on and off in a matter of minutes. Our block has reached saturation point and deep puddles are everywhere.

Dot with incidents like that there is a button on the camera you press and it locks the previous recording so it can not be taped over. People these days think braking is a game, happens a lot overseas mainly to truckies. Lot of small cars become right off and truckies have the camera to prove what happened.

Have a great few days cheers Robert

Sign of the times, went to the fuzzy office at Mt Pleasant = no one there but it had a sign to ring xze , up the road to Birdwood to visit a friend and NO fuzzy office there Got back to the bus and I rang the Mt Pleasant number and a woman said the usual copper was on border duty so she said to go to the police station where we live ha ha we have a cop shop but once again never anyone there either so we have settled on going to the Mt barker station to show the nutter from yesterday. The PC brigades spend $ on Coon cheese, golliwogs etc etc yet never any $$ to staff police stations and other necessary services. Even the hospital at Strathalbyn has a hospital that is now not a hosp so ambulances mave to take every emergency to Mt Barker? towns are getting bigger yet all services are closing ?? Enough of the grizzles I am signing off for tonight. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight BernieQ x :D

Looks like you need to get onto your local member about the lack of police support, Dot. I agree with you , it is just not good enough. Enjoy your weekend away xxxx

Took the paperweights out of the kiln today. Both blue hearts have splits in them. I suspect the blue glass developed some air bubbles and that caused them to split. The red ones look better. The square one is really a small pyramid, photo makes it just look like a blob

Even with the splits, I am happy enough with them. Probably won't do any more of them, it was just an experiment in building up glass in deeper molds. The load today is the couple of pendants that I made for myself and a few brooches for the stall. It was a ridiculously small load, but I don't want/need to make too much more jewellery and I want it finished for a sale next weekend (maybe, weather depending).

night all xxx

Thats a bit of a bugger Deb. But there may be some rejected Lothario looking for a broken heart. :D

We had a great morning. Went to see the gkids play footy U14's with their country cousins. That will probably never happen again. Then the older one stepped up and played in the U17's. We were very proud of him, even though he was completely outclassed by the bigguns he never chucked it in. We had a bit of rain, almost enough to damp the dust.
Good night everyone. Sleep tight.
Cheers
