People get excited about the latest release of smartphones...
but overlook the awsome communication technology contained in their car's indicators.

Excellent observation, Ray. I wise person pondered the depression that must be suffered at BMW by the person whose only job is to fit the indicator stall.

After having to drive on Melbourne freeways last weekend, I am of the opinion that they are not seen as 'direction indicators' but rather as 'permission askers'. And more often than not, the answer is a resounding NO

In Sydney it means I am changing lanes and the response is OK as long as you do it NOW not in 10 seconds time.

Lived in Melbourne for 35 years. In my observations the use of indicators meant “I have just changed lanes.”😡

Be careful what settings you choose for your sat nav, I tried Bono from U2, now the streets have no names and I still can't find what I'm looking for .........
