Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It might be on your lawn, but it's not on mine

You got that in one Peter, I thought you would know where it is. Isn't it weird looking at Hazelwood with no smoke or lights in that place. Eerie I thought. But the 'Valley is still full of brown coal smoke.

I probably need to edit this a bit!
It has been pointed out by people with local knowledge, that where Yallourn used to be is about where that thing is. So, in the spirit of fairness Ray should take the prize.
So it's your turn Ray.

What do they do to stop the brown coal self igniting now it is exposed to the air? When we toured the Yallourn brown coal generation plants at the Warragul CMCA rally back in '98 I think it was, they talked about not being able to stockpile or leave the brown coal exposed because it would self combust.
