Australian Trivia Only

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

OK Folks,

WHERE would you be if you were admiring this craftwork of the local Men's Shed.
His name is "Rusty the ..." [name of fish breed]
I'm not going to give you the breed, 'cos that might limit the area in which he would likely be found.

Bonus point if you can complete his name.

(NOTE: Bonus points not redeemable for anything except your turn to post a question... provided you correctly identify his place of residence. :P

Macca,
It’s a fair way east of the west coast.

HINT: It’s in an RV Friendly town.

Now that narrows it down to about a thousand places. 😜😳

This looks very like one of the sculptures at Boort Vic but I don’t recall two fish.

Ah well, you are a tricky bloke Bruce. We stopped in Boort for lunch after having a tour of the Spanner man’s fantastic sculptures. Nice little town although we had camped at the Charlton RV Dollar wise park. $10 for 3 nights.
Cheers

Lesley,
YOU ARE OUR WINNER!!!
His full name is “Rusty the Redfin”
We looked for the Spanner Man, but he must have been on the road we DIDN’T take.
We were heading for Donald. I presume he’s on the Warracknabeal Road. :(
Next time...

The same park in Boort also features a Cormorant on a large rock. He is also made out of recycled scrap.
It is titled “Shag on a Rock”, and if you look closely, there’s a scrap steel crayfish skulking in a small crevice at the bottom of the rock.
No pix unfortunately.
