The Best Laid Plans

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The Best Laid Plans

Post by Swisslulu »

As the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray...

Our 3 month trip to Europe was due to start on Friday however Erich was summoned by his GP to receive the results of the MRI he undertook last week. Unfortunately the results reveal a prostate cancer that can’t be ignored.

Currently the trip is cancelled and we are awaiting appointments with a Urologist in Brisbane for future treatment.

The fight with our Travel Insurance company has begun. Stay tuned.

Bloody hell!

Bad timing for the trip but better to fix the problem now.

Been there - done that.

If the situation arises - sorry, pun not intended - & Erich has the option of treatment or removal... I strongly suggest removal by the most modern system available, much less chance of any 'problems' occurring later.

I was 'offered' this particular treatment by a professor at a Sydney private hospital... until I advised I was ex military with a gold card, then he withdrew the offer because they would not pay his asking fee & I couldn't afford it at the time.

My result was a 'slash & grab' method!

Nuff said.
