Re: Ray's Roses
Brian,
The iPad & iPhone use the OSX ‘lite’ version. That's why they use the cloud, for extra processing power.
Get a PROPER ‘pooter, a MacBook Pro and you’ll see how easy & intuitive OSX is.
(The simplicity of taking a screen shot is just one example of how easy it is.)

Re: Ray's Roses
Pressing the "PrntScr" is a complex operation for a fruit machine user? With a real 'puter that print screen can be dropped into any number of areas including an email and a Power Point slide. The other great feature is you can save a copy in any of 26 different formats so it can be used in a very wide range of applications. Real computers are very powerful machines that are not tied to having to use a proprietary software that you can only buy from one source, well worth learning even the basics of how to use a real computer so you can get a genuine comparison between the two major players in the market. Yes, a MacPro can do some of the things a PC can do, but there is so much more that a PC can do that is well beyond the ability of an Apple product.Greynomad wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2019 2:49 pm Brian,

T1,
It’s not the PRNTSCR that’s the problem. It’s all the rigmarole which follows in order to get a saved image.
And Apple also offers a multitude of formats.

Ummm..... right click in the program you want the image to appear? I know there are other tools that can cut out the bit you want and copy that to anywhere you want, but I is a techniphobe, so simple works well for me

A techniphobe isn't the term for someone who has had a lobotomy

Re: Ray's Roses
I didn't say that people who had succumbed to the Apple hype must have had a lobotomy, I'm saying I would need a lobotomy to pay far too much money for something that had far less capability than what I have now .......Coolabah1au wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 11:14 am [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]
