Mobile phone plan

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley, When we were on the shore of lake Eildon near Mansfield in October I had reception on Boost and was acting as a hot spot for everyone else and at Taggerty in May I had reception inside the MH.

So much for Boost.

I have been paying $30/month automatically for 12 months and the most recent payment was to be taken by Telstra yesterday. I tried to make several calls only to be told "Sorry, the number you have called is not available from this service". Checked bank account and noticed that payment had not been taken. Tried to contact Boost via landline only to be answered via text messages saying that the 12mth contract had ended. I had not been advised that I would be disconnected and after 90 minutes of stuffing around and not being able to talk to anyone I gave up and signed up with Dodo for $5/month (no data, don't need it, just want to make phone calls, can access data if needed).

George, are you saying that Boost is now gone completely or just gobbled up by Dish or Sprint? as part of that merger earlier this year.

I am opposite to George where I dont need calls as I have large telstra for internet etc but use a Telstra $30 for 3 months just for my apple to fly my drone. I need the wifi for GPS etc and it uses the towers. My Samsung refuses to behave so I have the Apple just for the drone. Due to the eye balls not qworking properly any more I use the drone very sparsely now so the cheaper the better. Might look at others but being in a gully due to the marina needing to be on river level even Telstra is un reliable at times. Might look at Aldi first. I have tried WIFi to the samsung but appears to not be successful and I dont want to loose3 the drone as it was not cheap.

No Dave, They just stopped taking my money and cut my phone, couldn't talk to anyone they just wanted to play with texts and it became too hard to even change plans.
