Newcastle George

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Newcastle George

Post by jon_d »

Our young George has had a fall.

He was on the bus roof. Julie says he was looking for some rust; I think he was looking for signs of gravity.
Anyway, 2 seconds later, he's on the ground with broken ribs; front and rear, punctured lung and broken cheek bone and eye socket.

Currently in hospital sorting out the punctured lung and then an operation to sort out the face. Lots of pain.

So let's wish him a speedy recovery. (I'll post the same on AMH)

Not good news. Is he trying to out do Ray? Wishing George a speedy recovery.

Guess you need to be added to the not allowed to use ladders list George, feel your pain with broken ribs not to mention your other broken bits, hope you are soon on the mend.

Gravity is a bugger. Just ask Ray. All the best for a speedy recovery. When all this virus crap is over we really should organize a big get-together somewhere before everyone self destructs. I for one are missing a camp fire with a few members and a couple of reds.

George,
I thought you would have learned from my experience: gravity always wins.
Bummer that you punctured your lung. And buggered up your face... although that might be hard to tell. 😜
Hope all goes well for you with surgery, and that your healing is faster than mine!!
Regards & God bless,
Ray
