Windscreen all fixed, the guys from Narrogin glass came out and fitted 2 new side of high impact laminated glass.

New glass eliminated need for rubbers now bonded onto the frame.

Haven't got the cost yet but when I do I will post .

Had some pic's but they have been resized to 140kb and are still to large.
Cheers

Fantastic Kappy.

Please replace the windscreen wiper rubbers with new good quality soft ones.

The old ones will be hard and will scratch the crap out of the new glass.

I had a glazier tell me that a long time ago and I didn't. - Ruined a new windscreen.

"tanks" here ---Kappy,
Now for a (mesh type) windscreen protector to fit the new glass before you get out and about.

I seem to remember that Dot & George made their own up?
There isn't a lot to them really. If you get to look at a few it might give you some ideas.
I think George bought a roll of 'bird' netting like they make aviaries out of. Might have some left over?

Or about $200 from these people.

"tanks" here---
perhaps Dot or George can put a few photos of their w/screen mesh on the forum for Kappy to have a look at what he could do to protect his new glass windscreen to show construction and how to fit it to the body of the vehicle.
