Good to see you here Paul but not good to hear about the health issues, hope things pick up in the near future for you.
Good luck with the sale and hopefully all will come good and you'll be buying another vehicle to replace it.

Hi Terry

Main health issue is my disks in my spine stuffed by arthritis. I need to buy a much softer ride.

So buying a new Jeep with the quadra-lift suspension. I test drove one in Perth not long ago and it was very much like a sedan.

I love the ruggedness and brute force of the Toyota, but my spine doesn't. If I want t o continue my nomadic lifestyle, I have to go to a softer ride in the tug.

The Jeep has the same towing capacity of the Toyota, so it will still tow the van fine.

My other health issue should be fixed soon after some zapping, which is starting early next year, for 2 months. The specialist is confident it will be successful. New technique which can aim the beams better and minimise the side effects. I won't need to use a night light in the van for a few months....

Good to hear Paul, I know what that jarring back pain is all about as I guess many here do as well, back injuries are a real bugga. Good luck with the zapping and good luck with the sale of the Toyota

Hi Paul, Good to see you here. You wont know your self with air springs under you, Its the best ride and your van will be happy as well no more jars on the draw bar , just a soft up and down. Bev has the same problem with her back and the Disco is as good as a limo ride. I have just read some of your travels on the CF as you traveled from WA, You must have passed vir Mildura going back (home) , would have liked to have showed you around this part of the world, next time you pass ok.
Good luck with the sale..

Do you mean me ??? Paul???

If so, yes, it's a GXL 5 speed auto. Towbar, roof rack, wired for large round pin trailer coupling, plus 15amp anderson plug, Teckonsa Prodigy braking system, 3500 towbar etc.

Everything works! 2 x new Toyota batteries, timing belt /tensioner replaced as per manual at 150,000k, oil /filter changed with quality every 5,000k when towing,

Location is Wyong. Good quality Bridgstone AT's all round.

Had a complete check up before coming over to Sydney from Perth. Everything checked - suspension, shockies, etc. I gave them a blank cheque to fix anything they found may be suspect. Front wheel bearings were replaced and all new fan belts. Kept the 'old' ones for spares.
