"tanks" here Dot,
I'm here and on top of it all. I have had a walk to the rubbish bin already because I forgot last night.
I might even have a walk out back later and have a look at the mango tree.
I am waiting for the lady from the dog rescue lot to give me a phone call. Time I had another companion.
Keith.

I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Have you thought about adopting a greyhound Tanks? they are so gentle and loving, don't get under your feet and just love being a couch potato. If you have the Mangos could you not make your own weis type bars? Just a thought Tanks what about you "foster" a dog,Keith Morris wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 7:41 am "tanks" here Dot,

I am waiting for the Pet Rescue lady to call me and discuss what is available as far as size and breed and age, and what options I have; e.g.: Foster, adoption, purchase, etc
The mango tree stopped fruit in December so I have to buy WEIS BARS from Coles or IGA when on special.

G'day Norman, your timing is perfect.
Some time back we recorded 2 documentary type thingy about the Ghan train & the Indian Pacific... both were just a visual trip, no commentary & went for about 4 hours each.
Interesting for about the first hour, then rather dull, but we persevered.
Two days ago we managed to download another trip & watched it last night - but what a difference... NZ.
Started on the N Island then progressed down as far as it could go with excellent scenery. Then everyone heading south moved from train to ferry & crossed to the South Island.
Well, the scenery from that point onwards was simply brilliant... again no commentary which simply wasn't needed. At some point the train stopped & but the visual story continued with what appeared to be a Land Rover with a number of cameras fitted to a frame on the outside, all the way down to Milford Sound where they then moved the cameras to a boat & proceeded to show the fantastic scenery there out to the point when there was just water & no more land.
WOW!
Now that 4 hour trip was totally brilliant & not at all boring ... gunna hang on to that one & watch again some day.
It now looks like we may well consider a trip ova the dutch.
