"tanks" here---
Look around for the ones out of a jaguar. they were chrome plated and a nice looking unit.

I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Been converting the Tramp to 12v power, the original build had 2 x 240v/12v lights in the ceiling and the same combination at the door. We do a lot of bush camping during our travels and some times it was not very comfortable.

So now have 12v lights and power at the bed, power and lights at the kitchen and table areas. Yesterday I finished installing the 12v rangehood.

All so installed a 12v fan which can be directed to either end of the van. Had double GPO’s installed at the bed end to handle the electric blanket and battery charger.

So now we should be right where ever we camp. Looking forward to the trip to Alstonville in July

Take care and have a great week. Cheers Robert

Thanks David had to fill in when I had the 240v system removed but pleased with the work.

This was the old unit installed during build 1998, rather a bulky bit of gear

I like your storage trays as well. We currently use plastic crate thingos that waste too much cupboard space when travelling. I think we will be pinching your idea. Let me know where to send the royalty cheque. :D

No charge mate I set mine a couple of inches of the bench so I could clean under them. Always interested in what people do incase I can use or modify the idea.

Looks good Robert but I'd suggest you stop using the talcum powder for sprinkling on your strawberries and use it on the ants instead!! ;)

Does talcum powder really work on ants? :?:

I've tried just about every ant product known to mankind and the little buggers just keep coming back

I don't think talc will get rid of them but if you're camped somewhere where there are a lot of ants you'll keep them at bay by surrounding each tyre and your power lead etc.
We had an infestation of little tiny black ants that came with the houseboat and Antrid etc never interested them one little bit.
We were told to try stuff made by Talon, the same mob make cockroach baits etc, and after a couple of feeds we haven't seen them since.
It comes in a small syringe minus the needle. We found it in an IGA shop.
Apparently they take it back to the nest & kills the lot??
