I'm now 85 years of age and living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no address, no money, no worries.

Finally a nice sunny day with temp in the mid teens.
I was able to get two coats of Silver Shield on the main part of the roof.

For any who are not aware, Silver Shield is made by the same people who make the sealant many of us have used in our homes when renovating wet areas. The sealant is painted onto walls behind tiles etc to waterproof them.

This stuff is slightly more in so much as it also contains a highly reflective substance, they claim silver, to reflect the suns rays and reduce the inside temperature on hot days. Does it work? I'll let you know someday.

I've already purchased 2 litres of white gloss automotive enamel to spray the front and back section of the roof. I'll have to wait for a day of high teens or better yet, low 20's to spray that.

Jim, I know you've purchased your paint, but if you are going to do more painting, have you thought of using Dulux epoxy anti-rust paint. I used it on the roof of my truck after many attempts to stop it leaking and this paint finally did it as it is extremely waterproof. I'm going to paint my bus with it, if I can get the right tint I want.

Got my cruiser with the new engine back yesterday and have spent the day doing what the mechanic who installed the engine should have done, it's a mess, gauges don't work was idling at 1200revs and there was so much water in the cabin you could almost swim in it. Just goes to show, when you can do something, don't get fools to do it for you.
