Hi the boring one here Paul just asked me to ask if an aluminum van can be repainted
Thank you for info on the waxing Bruce i will enquire into the acid wash sou ds ok cut and polish is what i thought would be ok

Yes it can but the correct prep work is very important.

Paul I can now see your Avatar and it looks like your van is mostly white paint.
Don't use the acid wash on that! Depending on how bad your van is I reckon a good scrub with sugar soap & then a 2-pack paint sprayed on would be the best.
Most crash repairers have large drums of it & will fill your container for you.
Don't be tempted to use house paint!
You really need a shed to do it in though.
Terry would know all about the better paints to use.
