Looks like your birthday present will be new wiring Peter, then you can go to the pub but being in Victoria don't think I would be going out much at all. All the best for your op, let us know how it all goes please.

Happy belated birthday Peter, are they going to put an LTO lithium battery in the time with the induction charging? They say the LTO chemistry is good for 30 yrs plus, so tell them if you don't get a least another 30 yrs the family will be looking for a warranty claim ;)
If I thought I'd get another 30 yrs I'd be booking in tomorrow to get wired up, a bigger battery pack to power the hearing aids and bionic eyes when they come on the market might be a wise move eh

I suggested a similar upgrade to one of the specialists a while back with a brain stimuliser implant, he reckoned the battery cables required wouldn't fit under the skin to run them up through the neck just to get it kicked over :o Don't ya hate a smart ass specialist

Hi Dot ,thanks for your good wishes,I got my birthday ,Xmas and fathers day presents for the next few years a couple of months ago,it was an automatic coffee machine that makes excellent coffees.I think eating and drinking out will be out for a while, will tell you how the op goes.
Terry, not sure what the batteries are,I assume they are Litho something, the last units were rated at an eight year life span but I get three years before they are almost flat due to how they are programmed, this is my fifth defib/pacemaker,I think a zip and screwdriver would be easier. The new box of dice might be induction charging,if not maybe I need to stick my fingers into a power point to get me moving. Thanks Dot and Terry for the birthday wishes.

Maybe a potentiometer Peter.
Up or down as required.
Look a bit silly hanging out your shirt pocket.
Just a suggestion 😁😁12/240??πŸ€”

Not sure Bernie about the potentiometer, would probably depend on the size of the knob.12/240 may work but where do I put the invertor?...............Peter
