A Place For Everything...

Post by Greynomad »

When we swivel our front seats to "Loungeroom" position, there's nowhere to conveniently put my mug (of tea, smarty!)...
So I made up two of these, one for each seat:
Mug 1.jpg
In stowed position for travelling
Mug 2.jpg
UP she goes!
Mug 3.jpg
And this is how it stays up...
The aluminium leg folds flat when stowed,
and rests on the base when in use...
Simples! :P

All made from a few timber & plywood scraps I had hanging around. :D

They will hold two cans stacked! :D
(Experience speaks... ;) )
Couldn't manage to stack three-up... overcome by thirst. :P
But I expect they would... that's five-ply & 1.5mm aluminium.
(Note the inward chamfer on the base-strip supporting the aluminium leg.)
