It's a Medallion of the Saggitarian star-sign.
I should know. I am one. Don't bother flaunting it wearing a medallion, though.
Probably most popular in the 1960s~70s, when it was OK for men to wear such things.
In the 60s I did wear a Ban-The-Bomb medallion for a short while (with my polo-necked shirts!
). Nuisance. Kept snagging on things at work.
