Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

You generally can’t buy bottles with corks anymore.
Well, not the ones with red or pale green stuff in them… unless it’s the sparkly varieties.
And the green bottles with brown fizzy stuff in them are mostly screw caps (except the Tassie ones and the boutique brewers’ stuff).

Today I started to sort out the stuff I had packed away in box's in rediness for a move to a smaller place. Now I need to decide how many of the assorted stuff to keep. Big job and my thumb is not at all happy to be used just yet. I had put all the sheets etc into plastic bags and named then eg King sheets, King duvet covers etc that will make things easier. One box is 4ft L x 2 ft W x 2ft H so a lot of stuff and there is 6 of that size. Towels tomorrow Oh boy. Anyway G rang a company to give a quote to re do the crappy roof job, he also said that charge would be $200 just for the quote, 57ks away, is this normal? More cooking today well no cooking just a big lemon slice also into the freezer. Grass to be mowed tomorrow if no rain, spoke to HTFFBO this arvo, she said she was sitting outside under the awning and the temp was 27 deg. Time for bed e buys so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Nini n Wayne xx :D :D

Dot, in our area most quotes are free and are only current for a week or two. Might be worth asking elsewhere first. Happy bus packing. xxxx

Yesterday was good weather wise, but the grounds were very soggy from the humungous storms that we had overnight. I suspect that kept a lot of people away. It was a very long, slow day. The few sales that we did make were all reasonably good ones, so all in all, for a first time at that festival, we did pretty well.

We came home today with no real dramas at all. The sort of trip we would like every time. We had the van unpacked and parked in the back yard before dinner time. That is always a good way to return home. Everything went so smoothly, we are both exhausted, but able to get a good sleep tonight.

After a restless painful night of thumb pain, I thought better of doing anything that involved using my R) hand and I did just that, I had creamed rice for my tea, would have been nicer if I could taste it though. Rain most of the day and right now it is 10deg so off to bed now Glad you got home with some spare cash Deborah, any bowls this weather Shirley? Any nibbles on the sale of your MH Wayne n Nini? Safe travels everyone. RAT test tonight = Neg :D :D Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Toolman x :D

Hope you get that painful thumb dealt with soon Dot. Being in pain at night is just not good xxxx

I had a lady doc appointment today. It is an annual visit, but important. I left with a handful of scripts and a lot of useful advice.
It was worth the drive to Belmont just to see her.

After the quack, we found a great pub at Blacksmiths (the Orana) where they serve lunch until 2:30 and the food is delicious. We had so much lunch that we could only manage a piece of toast for dinner. I am truly, so tired and a good long sleep will be happening tomorrow morning.

night all xxx

Light rain in Dysart since 3:00pm today and no sun in sight. In line for an early dinner and then into the PJ's because the temp inside is only 23c. at 5:30pm.
I plan to play with my remote for a while, and then it's off to bed after a hot cup of Earl Grey and a Lemon Crisp or two.

While playing with the remote I found Antiques Roadshow, followed by 2 sessions of Dame Judy Dent in As Time Goes By. Jim Beam replaced the Earl Grey and I deprived myself of the Lemon Crisp biscuit.
I watched half a session of Midsomer Murders through my left eye while my right eye had a sleep.
Now giving up on the remote and the TV and going to bed so as I will be on deck for the Wheelie Bin truck in the morning.
Good night all.
Keith.
