Woke up early - didn't get my money's worth. Perhaps I could plug in an accessory. 8-)

Driving test very good. We left our current driver's licence at home didn't we! Never been out of her purse before but took it out to fill out one of the forms and left it on the kitchen bench. So off to a late start but got through, albeit late. Still has to do written test.

Moving on with the trivia laden suppository, 1 litre of petrol contains about 8000 calories which means a small car getting about 16kms per litre will burn about 500 calories every kilometre. Our 120 watt human body would make the car travel for 200 metres - I think. So, Iza, as a suggestion, you might plug into your car.

The cartoon is materializing in my mind as I type ..........   Could be hard on the knees :!:

More stuff to think about. A kilogram of body fat contains 9000 calories. Now, we know that a litre of petrol contains 8000 calories so, if a little car ( which weighs a lot more than me) can travel 16 kilometres at 100 kph on a litre of fuel, then I should be able to do the same or better. Shouldn't I?

Apparently I consume about 100 calories if I run 1 km, or 80 kms on a kg of fat. I reckon I'm about 20 kg over. So see you in 1600 kilometres -or 16 hours at 100 kph. Or about 400 hours at normal walking speed. provided I don't eat or drink in the meantime!

On the other hand, the mental exertion to calculate and type this message was equal the calories in a cream biscuit. Where's the bikkie barrel?

In my case, best range would require that someone render me for the tallow (would get heaps) and make biodiesel. Plug that in (or pour as the case requires) and you would get half way around the big island of Gondwana.
