And also today we got Buntings to honour their saying that they will beat any price by 10% on a genuine price. G got a price for a roll of bird wire from a stock firm then told Buntings the price, they said they would ring to confirm (that was last week) so today while we were in Mt Barker G went to Buntings to see what the go was. Yep they had rang the other mob and confirmed the lower price so they had to beat it, Buntings original price was $240 the stock firm $220 so Buntings had to go to $198 so we ordered the wire
I did similar to Buntings some years ago.
Their catalogue said a Gorilla brand painting platform/work-table type thing was $XX, and in the same lot of junk mail Mitre 9+1 advertised the same brand item $10 cheaper.
I took both catalogues to Buntings, and they sold me the item for 10% less than the Mitre 9+1 price!
I was happy.
Don't think their manager was...

I don't think they were happy either Ray as they didn't get back to us to verify our claim after they checked with the stock firm. They lost big time on that one.

"tanks" here -- I let "Russell" have a look at the pictures and he run outside and had a pee-on-a-tree and came back with the look of i'm one up on that, so I said go and do a dump and then I'l give you a 2 up.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Put me in charge of compulsory job search. You will either search for employment each week no matter what the job or you will report for community work.
This may be clearing the roadways and open spaces of rubbish, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you.
We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your dooff dooff stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”
Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realise that all of the above is voluntary.
If you want our hard earned cash and housing assistance, accept our rules..
Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin someones "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.
If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards those for continuing to make bad choices.
AND While you are on Centrelink income you no longer have the right to VOTE!
For you to vote would be a conflict of interest..... If you want to vote, then get a job.
Now, if you have the guts - PASS IT ON...

The Pilbara received nine inches of rain over three days resulting in ‘minor’ flooding in low lying areas. These photos were taken just outside of Port Hedland and showcase Western Australia’s police force at its finest.
