Re: solar panels
Bernie you think the same as me with batteries etc.
I know what goes in and what goes out as long as I have enough come in to cover today and make up any difference I need, and the batteries are full enough to get to the next day then I am happy.
If I get the added bonuses then all the better.
I know what the PL40 tells me and that's all I want. If everything is working then it must work whether some say it cant or doesn't is of no consequence.
Go with what you are happy with and get out there and enjoy.
Regards

G'day All
I just finished putting panels up on the pop top and all working well I run the cable down from the panels under the plastic strip on the side of the van instead of drilling hole and going down the inside.

You have me going there for a minute Denis, I couldn't figure out what the brown bit was How is the poptop for weight lifting it up now, still ok or a bit heavy?

Re: solar panels
G'day,
I had them installed (easily done) and they work brilliantly (I own no shares in Tim's business nor are we related).
If there is too much weight for you to lift comfortably, have a gander at this; http://www.rvairlifters.com.au/T1 Terry wrote:How is the poptop for weight lifting it up now, still ok or a bit heavy?
