You noticed all the 'up' names huh... reckon that's the southern mobs naming committee trying for some one-up-man-ship on the northern mob!

As for the part time work, yep, went for an interview which was in two parts... sound & sight.

The sound aspect was first class, they were most impressed but the sight part was not so good. Managed to get in position OK, then they hit me with the lights & my daks automatically dropped to the floor, I bent over to pull them back up & my foofal valve just unpuckered to the point that there was no freckle there at all. Most disappointing, so did not get the job.

Have been thinking about how & why this happened &the only explanation I can think of is that you only get one chance to Bay at the Moon... & we had ours at Kerang!!!

Didn't we Dot?

Such a shame that you missed out on the extra $$. We are looking for another full mooner to take the place of the now old skinny bum. But I reckon he should still be game enough!! See if we can recruit some newbies as well. :?

Could Catriana have a colonoscopy in W.A. ?? easier than flying back to Sydney.

Certainly could Shirley, however, when Catriana was undergoing the numerous scans & tests etc to find out what was wrong, all came with an "inconclusive" comment by the so called experts. The lady surgeon examined all the tests & found the cancer, carried out the surgery which was followed by 8 months of chemo therapy.

These two ladies now have such a bond between them you'd almost think they were twins!!

No way am I going to suggest she have it done anywhere else!! :? :? :?

When we were driving home from Keith yesterday along the road that has so many fatalities concerning trucks we came across the last tragic site where 3 trucks collided resulting in 2 deaths and another truck driver hanging on. Now again today another truck has left the road in Bordertown slammed into a house killing the driver. This road is a good road with lots of passing lanes so what the hell is the matter with these trucks and/ or their drivers?? Even though this accident happened on a service road the speed limit is 50kph. The people in their bed were so lucky not to have been killed as well.

I went past that site today Dot.
It was one of Scott's Transports & it actually ran into a lawnmower business. A tin shed actually.
Looking at the site I'd almost be prepared to say the driver had a heart attack or passed out for some reason.
The accident squad were there in force.
Still a sad event.

Understand how you both must feel, re so called experts & inconclusive comment, have experienced the same thing ourselves, can also see why one would have faith in the surgeon, hope Catriana gets a great report.
