Dot, what email service are you using and do you have a mail client, or manager, if so which one.

She is using Bigpond but I'm not sure what client.
Dot log in via webmail and do a clean up / clean out.

I've found moving away from bigpond, google and other large email providers gives me a much better service and stopped using mail client/managers as they seemed to make things worse, even using linux. Don't even use the free email accounts from my satellite or mobile providers.

The one I use now, "muchomail" is simple, free, unclogged, no adverts and have never had any problems with it. Have a couple of other email accounts which keeps personal separate from enquirers I may make regarding goods and business. That way when businesses start to spam you, they never effect your personal email boxes.
