Slowhand's passing (Bob Stone)

Post by BruceS »

It is with sadness that I have the duty to inform fellow members that Bob (Slowhand) passed away last Tuesday due to an accident.
I have no other details except that if anyone has paid for 'items' and hasn't yet received them, I do have an address for contacting those responsible for sorting out Bob's 'affairs'.
RIP Bob...

Sorry, more than a few posts but he was new to many of us. And he obviously had quite a bit of knowledge to share. What a sad loss!
Cheers

Bob (slowhand) was one of those people that could grab you attention with the way he put his words on the forums.
He was one that I admired and respected, I did have some PM's with him not as much about 'lifo' battery's but stuff in general, even tho the lifo posts were of interest to others myself included.
I'm sorry I never had the opportunity of meeting Bob in person.
There's not much one can say other then condolences to his Sons and Daughter he spoke of them forums, Bob was proud of them as you can expect a father to be.
He will be missed by people he didn't even know.
Me included.
Bernie and Carol Duggan.

That's so sad, RIP Slowhand. My condolences to his family and friends. He had a different point of view to some, but that is how things are. His constructive comments will be missed by many.
Cheers

Sad news indeed, he was quite passionate about what he was doing, both with his electrical systems and alternate life style. RIP Bob
