It's Grass Seed Season

If you own a dog or cat, you may know that along with the warmer weather comes the dreaded grass seed!!

Already we are seeing lots of animals coming in with grass seeds embedded in paws, ears, eyes and under legs. This is an extremely painful condition and one that generally requires sedation and surgical intervention.
Grass seeds can travel through the body very quickly and can be very very difficult, to find and treat.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
If a long haired pet think about having it clipped.
Check on a daily basis if your pet is in contact with longer grass.
