I don't know just what it is but each year I find it harder to get into the christmas spirit thing. add to that, the local area is so depressed with all the steelworks lay off and associated businesses closing down as well it's hard to feel good about anything much anyway.
Maybe a week or two will make all the difference, we will have a house full this year so my daughter came for a visit with the new male companion and put the tree up so that bits done at least.
