nup,, you see we killed the mongrels before we heard of this. Bull ants or the 1" ants I reckon they meant.

That was what I was trying to determine, bull ants semm to come in a number of different forms, frem the harmless orange and black sugar ant to the flesh tearing red meat ants, they draw blood when they bite, apperantly they are used as an alternative to stitches on a serious cut, they hold the head so it bites the wound together and then snap the body off, the biter part actually locks closed.

Just opened up the usual weekly junk mail, opened up the woolies one and there they are,, hot crossed buns....... already

Well, I guess they're entitled to be a bit pissed off.

I reckon if you'd had a cross slapped in the middle of your bum then bunged in a bloody hot oven for a while you'd probably emerge a bit hot'n'crossed too - also even!

A hot crossed bun has rights too, you know. I remember when they used to come out a week before Easter now it's before New Year. What is the world coming to? Perhaps it is a terrorist plot to confuse us all
