Poor George hope it is not to bad, the two old fellas should get together, BOSS no better, off to Doc as soon as we make it home. Give George a hug and look after yourself also.
Cheers Ros.

Just got back from seeing the little fella, before I went to the hosp I rang to see how he was, "hasn't been seen yet but he is comfortable" so then I rang the clinic to ask if the "emergency Dr" had gone home for tea before she gets to see the people in emergency? the receptionist said she had seen her last patient at 5.15pm so I then asked if she would remind the Dr there was a person in pain awaiting in the emergency dept since 4pm...

. So then I went to the hosp walked straight into A&E and there was the poor little fella still on the bed waiting patiently. I then asked one of the nurses to find out when the emergency Dr would be making an appearance? they said they didn't know (usual reply) At 6.45pm the Dr comes in and does a few tests of his reflexes etc and comes to the conclusion he might have had a muscle spasm

I said that the drugs he has had would have relaxed the muscle if that was the only cause so with that she says I shall keep you in for tonight and send you for XR and ultrasound tomorrow but for now I shall start you on anti inflamms and warfarin in case you have a blood clot

So with that I bidded the little fella goodnight and came home for some more pills. I hear some of you say " she's a bit rough on the Dr" BUT they are on call as the Dr that goes to the hosp for such cases, how many people have been sitting in a Drs rooms only to be told the Dr has been called away for an emergency or told the Dr will be late because they have been called to the hosp? that's what the emergency Dr is for and why they book their day patients lightly... Bugger em I say we pay their wages so we should get service.. end of rant......
