Well the rental tribunal phone conciliation conference has been and gone. We gained a grand total of $35 instead of the $295. Thanks to the incompetence and slackness of the real estate property rental managers. The photos didn't mean a thing because the tenant said the house was dirty when they went in ?? (they took over the lease from their friends) In other words be in the minority, claim not to speak English and scream discrimination till you are yellow in the face. It works. I have now sent off an email to the Remax property manager's supervisor asking for her to come and discuss their bad business practices that have cost us $$ we could NOT afford.

Ummm..... when you take over a lease you take over every thing, including cleaning up anything that the previous tenants left behind. I think there has been a bit of back room stuff here Dottie, you won't be able to prove anything and anything you say could be used against you. Like the advice to Merlo 'just put it all behind you'
