We had our work Christmas party today. My head is a bit fatter than usual. But I think it will be OK tomorrow.

Lesley, Does RV Homebase back onto the river? How long before you and Erich can move in? We were going to have a look there when we up that way last time. Dave, no, it is quite a way from the river west of Maryborough in the "suburb" of Tinana, so no worries about flooding. Our house will go on the market in the new year and, once sold, it will be about a 12 week build time depending on how much rain there is. We're really looking forward to the move whIch will give us the flexibility to lockup and leave at any time.

Bloody crackers and fireworks going off for the past 10 minutes, TV turned up as high as it will go trying to cover the noise up so Miss Elly dog doesn't spend the rest of the night shivering and shaking. 
And that is part of our rates going up in smoke, maybe a few fires should start from this stupid behaviour might make them think about it a bit more, better ways to celebrate and cheaper as well. End of rant and the noise has now stopped till bloody new years eve. More of my $$ going up in smoke...
