This is what we have:
www.securitylab.com.au › Dash Cameras
'Master' dash cam.
Dunno where it came from (eBay) someone got it for us... around $50 delivered.
Fantbloodytastic - remove the little SD type card & insert it into your laptop - like watching a movie... clear as!
Runs on a continual loop & ifnya have an incident just press the appropriate button & it locks the incident so that it can't be recorded over till your ready.

Give that man a lolly pop, he's right.

The paperwork from the court looked like the 29th so after a call it is the 27th Feb do Thank you Al..
Nothing to fear here Darryl but wait till somewhere along the line

But it does go to show who is paying attention doesn't it

Ron.

"tanks" here---They are listed at a BuyNow price plus $2.00 post.
I got mine at Auction and from memory I paid $20 incl post last October when I was in Maryborough Qld. Details are on e-Bay under the heading:-
32GB Full HD In-Car Truck Dashboard Car Video Camera Recorder Crash Dash
The motion detector thingo is good and allows you to use the camera for security when parked.
My cameras record anybody who even walks past within about 20 feet of the Sprinter. When I am driving I set them on a 5 minute loop.
If I want a longer history of the route and record traffic or the things that I don't have time to look at I use a different setting.
They all plug into a 12 volt cigarette lighter type outlet.
I am still learning how to do pics so I can't put a pic of the unit here . Go to the e-bay ref to see a picture and full details.
You have to buy a card for the unit and a class 10, 32 gb card is best for recording in detail.

Shorter file lengths make it easier to find things you are looking; you make a mental note of the time of the incident and once the data card is loaded on the computer you can find the approximate file by the time. You'll soon know if the right file by the scenery and looking at only a 60 second file is quicker than a 300 second one.
Once you find the file you want, it's a simple matter to email the smaller 1 minute file as an attachment to whom ever including the authorities. Most helpful if you have data readout that includes GPS, date/time and speed plus a readable rego number plate.

Saw one lot of visitors on their way, (that boring one aka Helen) then another pair turned up for a couple of hours.. Scones were had by one and all.

After they left we were visited by little Elly dog requesting that we doggie sit her next weekend while her mum goes to a wedding. Never a dull moment.
