Hi everyone back from our little 2 week get-away to Port Fairy with friends, had a great time although not many fish.

Off to the 6 week check up with hand specialist tomorrow to see how its all going, not as good as I had hoped but maybe I was looking for a faster out-come will see tomorrow.
Cheers Ros

It was all that ironing you did Ros... OR was it all the lifting of those wine glasses? Early days for a hand to mend.. Good luck though. What excuses did Ivan make for the lack of fish? You will just have time to unpack and clean everything then repack again then you will be off again.

Yes Dot van all unpacked cleaned out and repacking will start next week we are off again for 6 weeks on the 15th March going to do a trip over the Great Alpine Road to spend Easter with my uncle at Marlo and more fishing for the BOSS and maybe fish this time.

Just the usual excuse for no fish they were not biting

Has anyone driven the Great Alpine Road ??
We will be home early May to await the birth of another Grandchild then come Mid June we will be off again busy travel times ahead.. And yes Dot the ironing may have something to do with the hand had a lot to do today and hand telling me tonight it was the wrong thing to do. so off to take a few happy pills and then bed.
Cheers Ros.

We travelled from Bairnsdale to Tallangatta via the Great Alpine Rd and the Omeo Hwy last May in our Bedford. Avoided the Alpine Rd between Omeo and Wangaratta due to a lack of exhaust brakes. Between Omeo and Tallangatta there were quite a few bends and a fair length of dirt (mud as it had rained the previous night) and by the time we reached Tallangatta I felt like I had had a 4 hour gym workout. Despite the bends etc it was an enjoyable trip.

Have just done the rounds of this crazy forum and you have to admit it is a crazy place but what got me laughing was IF there were admins from those "other" places they would go even crazier deleting off topic & in ur endo posts and writing letters left right and centre etc.
