Many buses were never designed to pull anything and only had ratings for themselves. (tare & gross)
If it doesn't then you might need to have it "engineered" and that'd mean towbar rating etc etc.Yep has a tow bar that was put on by the builder that did the stretch etc so now we have to find out what it is rated at then the engineer will do his sums and update the GCM.. (hope I have that right)

Dot mine was the same GVM 10160 GCM 10160 went to Sevices SA, the manager made a phone call and changed it to GCM 14590 after producing the receipt for the new tyres, she had a folder with tyre sizes and weights.

George rang Service SA re your post Geoff and the person had no idea of the procedure you suggested but told him to ring Motor Vehicle Standards but our engineer is also one of their consultants so I guess he would have told us that way to go if it was do able. Remember our bus has been extended and the chassis has been improved etc and is an import. Shall still contact them on Monday though.
