Maybe try some muesli. I have found that works really well with most birds who need a feed. Would not give it to them permanently, but its a start.

Yep, muscovy duck. Breed like flies if you have a pair.
Looks like a young male and someone has trimmed it's wings to stop it flying. If you cut both wings it can still fly.......... one wing & it can't fly.
We used to feed them on bran & pollard mixed into a sloppy mix.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
Yeah right, G and I were trying to be nice to the gawky goose but she dodged the sneaking up from the rear
thought G was a fox I think so after I did my prunes at him being too gentle with it I went inside and awaited the female cavalry i.e Flo. She and I got some old bird netting and as Muscovy attempted to run for it we launched the netting just as a bloody big gust of wind (not Chuck) lifted the netting and the greasy goose galloped away. So we gathered up the netting again but this time as Muscovy started to fast waddle off and her wings were starting to get ready for take off Flo and I ran either side of Muscovy and did the "all whites girl tackle" and snared us a goose while yelling instructions for the G man to plop the big bird cage over her. Job done and dusted, put a cover over the cage and then Flo and I loaded her into the back of her wagon and I waved Miss Muscovy a fond farewell. I have since heard that the release went well and all is good in gooseland
So ended another animal action packed day at the drop off house of beau.

VALE Ms Muscovy.
Had a text today to say that last night Ms Muscovy had a great feed and a swim in the dam and was getting on well with the other residents but this morning she was found dead as a dodo on the bank. The lady that took her thought as I did she may have been abused and could of had internal injuries. At least she had a good few days.

Poor goosey, but she did entertain you all for a while and had a few good feeds and a swim, so at lest she had a good ending.
