G had his nose check up today and the surgeon was very impressed and pleased with the Gmans progress. Then bugga me it turns out that this guy knows the ENT surgeons I worked for in NZ, so we spent a bit of time yapping about how things have changed in the world of ENT work. sure is a very small world. Anyway then we headed to the physios place for another car load of stuff for the op shop then back to Mt Barker where we did some old fashioned scabbing from the bins in K Mart for their cast off clothes hangers Now I know how B3 feels

Then got a call from super mechanic to say "your bus is ready, nothing too out of order, something about only getting half the throttle power"

bad line so didn't worry and so said would probably get over there next week to pick her up.. that was a relief bill won't be too much

Then we headed to the op shop where we sorted and cleaned all the stuff we bought home and even got some chips and had tea down there, got to stop this soon, getting too much, I reckon we need a holiday

What a morning, my young pussy was shaved, got jabbed (with a needle) and I was told he didn't have feline aids

last week I was told he had chlamydia

Where and what has my young pussy been up to

Then to add insult to injury he also has a yeast infection in his ears as a result of the mites infestation he had

All this is a result of him being a shelter hand raised kitten, nothing to be concerned about, he is growing like a weed (averages 200 - 300 grams pr week) he is now fully vaccinated, de bugged in and out so now it is a matter of enjoying life as he is doing right now. Oh The Life Of Brian
Picking the new 2nd hand car up this arvo and might try to get over to pick the bus up tomorrow, never ending here and there these days

Happy travels then Dot, and George of course.

You won't know yourself. Full throttle and an SGV hanging off the back. Have you got the hitch sorted for the new toad yet??

Going to get the bus on Monday after I see the dentist

plus we even might call in on those forum members that live opposite the mechanics workshop

then make a run for home after the mad peak hr traffic. "Follow that truck" will be the mantra, they forge the path through the city

Yes David we have the A frame somewhere in transit to Adelaide, got the Roadmaster the one with telescopic arms (yes please)

On Friday we had a bloke around to clean the gutters.
Did a bloody good job, especially considering they hadn't been done in almost 2 years - we'd been traveling & the resident tenant (daughter) didn't think about it. So, when he'd finished & came down off the roof cleaned up the crap & put it in his ute, we paid him the $150 he'd quoted & gave him a bonus $50 for the excellent work. He left very happy.
However...!!!
Last night we had a rather lengthy downpour - not a storm - just continuous heavy rain for a couple of hours & as we went to close the rear door of the garage for the night, noticed a leak in the roof near the roller door!!!

Bugger!!! Too late to do anything about it then.
This morning I'm up the ladder & noticed a cracked tile in the vicinity of the leak & when I went to lift it out - it broke in half!
Well, the tile was an original & the house was built in 1972 - can you remember back that far - so not surprised or pissed off & no, not gunna ask for the extra $50 back.
