The lift pump on the 5.9 Cummins is a common problem.
If left too long it'll cause the injector pump to fail I believe.
Recommend to fit a fuel pressure gauge. (tap into banjo on top of fuel filter)

Guessing thats for me Bruce, lift pump is about 2 years old, and the mh has not been sitting around, we have done close to 50000k in 2 years...
we will be checking it out though!

Must have been for you Martin, my "injector" pump failed yrs ago
plus my lifters have dropped

1315hrs and should be firing up the bus and heading off towards Melb, might get a few k's down the road today, don't wanna scare my new pussy too much for his "first time" C U later on x
