Well I think he's being victimised to a large degree.
I don't mind being stung for speeding on the spot but how would you feel if you got stung for something that happened 10 years ago? They tested blood & urine & most probably spit & DNA back then and found nothing.
Stupid SA Gov should never have paid that much for 'appearance money' anyway!!
He probably just pocketed another 10 mil just chatting to Oprah.........

He blatantly lied about taking drugs , accepted money & awards under false pretences that's enough for me, a liar and a thief.. With murders and crimes now no time limit with the new advances in science ie DNA.. IMHO

Sorry, Admin, I just have to disagree with you. I don't want to turn this into anything political but your logic is a bit akin to saying World War 11 was so long ago that the Nazis have nothing to answer for. Ok, a bit extreme I admit but you get my drift. I feel sorry for the honest, hardworking cyclists who missed out on their just rewards because of this fraud. Who cares now who should have received the accolades (and resulting sponsorships, money etc) way back when this happened? No one.

For the first time since I have been watching the tour down under I think this year I will go and wave my favourite fellas on Frank & Andy Schlek? sp? That's if it isn't toooo hot.. Used to sit on our front porch and watch them zoom past but not coming this way this yr
