took the SGV back to the dealer today for a couple of things to be addressed 1/ no aerial (I thought it might have been one that popped out when motor on) but never had one since we got car 2/ the reversing sensor thingo wasn't working. 3/ the jack that was in the car wasn't the correct one and did not fit in the space 4/ there was an outward dent from where someone had tried to shove the jack into the section and of course it didn't fit.. They put new aerial on, gave us a new jack, put the car in reverse and the dam thingo worked but luckily not for long, they worked now and again so we got the complete sensor kit ready for the workshop to put in and then we met the dent man and he was going to contact the dealer to give them the bad news so will await their response to the bigger than thought job he he The dent man said it needed the whole hog of repair not just a push in

so far a good mob to deal with.

1 landline 2 mobiles, when we go out I usually transfer the landline to the mobile (mine) but somehow I then transferred mine to G's

both have the same ringtone so it got confusing. So the last few calls went to the landline then to my mob then onto G's mobile, confused

So the house ph rand then my ph rang then G's ph rang, how the hell do you expect this old chook to figure that one out if you lot can't

Telstra fixed whatever it was I did so all good now.

Last night we watched a very interesting programme on channel24 re the Apple Co., & the production of their equipment in China, the exploitation of their workers was unbelievable, living conditions, hours worked employees falling asleep at their work stations really made one think re purchasing Apple products.

Dot we used to also get calls from landline transferred to mobile until realized how much that was costing, especially if a long way from home as you then pay for that transfer call. Do not even have an answering service on our mobiles as costs to dial 101 to retrieve the message.

Hmmm...... you have spoilt the suspense of those sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for part 2 Dottie

I was going to make a few comments.... but thought the sabre rattling that usually results from any detrimental comments about a certain party just wasn't worth the effort.
This bit did catch my eye though
Redarc stresses its units must be used
only with LiFePO4 batteries that have
an inbuilt battery management system
that includes under- and over-voltage
cell protection, cell balancing functions
and able to handle the respective 25 and
40 amp charge current. Redarc advises
to contact them if in doubt.
So it isn't really a charger that is designed to charge and protect the lithium battery, the protection is left to some one else to design, no doubt resulting in the blame game starting in the event of battery damage leaving the customer in the middle.
I was lead to believe it was a complete system, charger, BMS and battery pack, but this no longer appears to be the case.
