Gee will be glad to get home mid afternoon to-morrow. Childminding a 10 & 8 year old really is not work at all. They are too busy with their imagination & making up games etc. They are not big TV watchers, no tv games in this household at all. Been catching up on computer work since Tuesday so getting square eyes, back ache, neck ache. Did a 45 min walk at 5am this morning while daughter did a 20klm run. We both arrived back at house at same time!
About to go to bed & read as daughter studying, son-in-law ironing & watching the Tv & girls asleep.

Lycrosis is a disease that is contracted by the leaching of chemicals from Lycra through the skin. It is known to cause aggressiveness and colour blindness. Sufferers can be seen running red lights, weaving through pedestrians, lashing out at car mirrors and shouting obscenities. Take your photos from a distance, Dot - it's catchy.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
Always makes me wonder why they wear all their gear when training. We a=saved ours for racing as we could not afford two sets and they fell to pieces fairly quick. especially when you dragged then between your body and the road surface
I trained in my riding shorts(needed the chamois for safety
) but in summer rode in shorts and short socks and shoes, and usually nothing else. We never wore shirts or hats and went out all day with no water or food etc. Now you see them loaded up for a short warm up ride. In the winter used to put a jumper on my legs when really cold and newspaper inside you shirt when really cold or raining.
Bloody softies now and they don't go very far compared to what we did.
Used to ride everywhere (did not have a choice as Dad insisted we ride our bikes everywhere) Even rode from Port Pirie to Adelaide on a few weekends to see the girlfriend. About 140 miles I think it was. 280 miles return for the weekend. Just checked about 240K each way.
Regards
Brian
