Yes, I just read about that dump point, it is sad that there is a need to have them locked but it is caused by low life vandalising them & the cost to have them cleared & repaired.

Has anyone noticed that there are more mozzies out and about? As soon as I go out side they are there. Not just in the evenings either..

No pots with water Bernie, all cleared out last week to do the paving cleaning but the mozzies are even out in the open yard (dry as a dead dingo's donga) They seem to be so aggressive even with deet plastered on.
You may not have as many mozzies up there BUT you have flies, midgies, cane toads, snakes, and human shonkies
Plus a feral BruceS.
