We have a hosp here about half a k away but don't go there
( I worked there and know the inside crap)

Difference is that half of Dot's distance to travel is along a very dangerous, windy road from Strath to Mt Barker before you get on the freeway.
Been that many fatalities on that stretch they've given up counting them.

Just crap drivers Bruce, nothing wrong with the road (23ks) mostly double lines but the wombles insist on overtaking.

OP Shop decided to donate roughly 50 large rubbish bags of clothing to the fire victims but tried all over the weekend to contact the designated mob (Vinnies) but their help line is only open during office hrs
Needless to say we have found some other organisation to give the goods to.

Coming down off the 10% gradient of the Hay Point lookout I saw the sign say "hump" so I tried to........... ever tried humping coming down a 10% gradient and winding around a few sharp corners? It's just not fun!!!

Appears the donations we were going to make would go straight onto the shelves of the vinnies shop and not to the people we intended it to go to. I contacted the vinnies so called hotline and the woman said they don't hand out the clothing and could not guarantee the fire victims would get it so much for "organised charity" Ggrrrrrr where is the pope when you need him
I wanted to take a pic but well you know, not allowed to put that type of thing on here
