Yesterday,, had text from Helen (the boring one) to say "see you soon" G & I was about ready to go to town when they pulled into their usual yard position. We all said hello and see you later so off we went. Heading home we got a text from Helen saying she was at the Mt Barker hosp and Paul was in with breathing worries . Turns out he had not been taking his preventative asthma meds and he found out what happens when you do that so he stayed in last night . Helen just gave an update and he is staying in tonight and the Drs are changing his meds to suit the poor wee fella. Air con now on and Dees dogs and Brian are all stretched out enjoying the cool air. Greg and Dee are down the street doing some shopping and G is at the local hosp getting some printing done for the op shops upcoming AGM next week. Gregs Nissan should have it's new gearbox all done and ready to go maybe tomorrow then they will be able to continue their travels. Our bus mechanic rang us yesterday to say we can pick the bus up in a few days as he has nearly finished. Apparently he found a few "issues" that needed attention so happy with that. He is a very competent diesel mechanic and goes out of his way to get things done right the first time, even makes parts if they can not be sourced. Another hot day tomorrow 38 they say. I was given a present from Dee today but I shall have to get a pic later for you all to see

Probably Chuck, I got a bit of the same when we had to dump as well, not a people person at all.

Is the dump point that you are referring to a public, CMCA, or private?

The dump point is in the council caravan park but the cp has been leased to another group. If you go to the information centre they tell you to go there as it is the only dump in town yet the managers seem to hate paying dumpers with $. Paul said when he dumped there the person was ok?? I think George may be contacting someone on the "controlling body" of the park to see if he can get an explanation.

Why don't you put a private dump point in at your place Dottie, then you could collect the $5 a dump. You just need to locate the I/O (inspection outlet where the house sewer joins the sewer mains) install a toilet bowl with flushing cistern and bob's your father's brother so to speak. You could even put a shed around it for Chuckie visits but best have a no smoking sign as well

Wonderful Dot! We found in all day direct sun that the leaves sagged a bit in the heat of the day & some of the green leaf got sunburnt.
You would have hotter days & more hot wind than at Kingston SE I think?
