The day started out pretty well much the same then it wend down hill for a while but slowly coming right again.. I decided that it was time I sorted out the "boys" storage cupboard, it has just gone 2 yrs since the last of them went to doggie heaven and I thought it was time. Got all the leads, harnesses, jackets, collars, feed bowls, and the odd tooth that had been taken out on the odd occasions along with their vaccination records and their microchip details. As I folded and gathered the leads etc into nice bundles and started to put them into a container for the animal shelter I felt so guilty that I was getting rid of their things and so the flood in the kitchen began Went outside and did some gardening for a while and all is ok now. Packed all the stuff into the car along with heaps of bedding and towels and sample food packs for the many poor lost and abandoned animals at the animal shelter from where we initially got our big boy Chase (the dobe) I don't go past the gate and poor ol George gets to do the job of passing the stuff over to the 2 ladies that devote their full time to the shelter.. Just have their coats to go but not guite ready for that bit yet.. Think it's time for a nice wine right now..

Dot, you're not thinking of getting another companion?

No not looking but I guess one day some little 4 pawed furperson will find us.. Just found it difficult clearing out the boys stuff.. Guess it's along the lines of when someone loses their spouse and they have to clean out their wardrobe..

Our Daughter,Sil and G/kids spent New year and 14 days in NZ.

She bought me a small bottle of "Wild Fern" Whisky, made with NZ honey and blended with Scotch Whisky.

I just opened it tonight to see what it was like.

Jeezz , No wonder they talk funny over there.

They certainly did Dot, they did the North Island and enjoyed it so much they're going back next Xmas to do the South Island.

If you had of said earlier I could have given them places to see (at no charge) Why go right in Peak time? Did they do the cream trip? If so they had lunch at our friends place..

Dot they booked and paid for it last Feb.

Not sure about the cream trip,I'll Ask Tan in the morning when she rings, what is it.?
