Russell, we went last year and were so disappointed. It has become very commercial and most of the flowery stuff was just tulips, tulips and more tulips. The displays were just not creative enough for us and we left there swearing to never return. The only bonus for me was that we spent a very pleasant hour watching a cooking demonstration by Mark Olive (known as The Black Olive on tv ) showing the uses of aboriginal herbs/spices in everyday cooking. He was fabulous and even HWMBO said he enjoyed the time in the cooking tent.
The place might get washed away by how to vote papers stuffed into the drain systems there.

It is on at EPIC.
This is the last year at this venue [floriade].

Being pensioner I have to plan my trips according to the budgets, SWMBO also sets the pace. This year is our light travel year , next year a different thing, might put the 4wd on the train to Darwin and tent it back down the east coast. How's that for an adventure.

When all are welcome in all their activities and perks all the time then things shall be equal for the same $$$$$ just saying.

I thought caravan owners can be associate members & that only allows them to attend one rally?
Maybe it's changed since I left the club?
It IS a motorhome club after all? Fair enough I say!
