That is pretty innovative, they haven't actually destroyed the Kombi, just modified it using the original bits. Where was the photo taken? Can't quite see if it's left hand or right hand drive, but the cargo doors suggest it is right hand drive model, roughly mid '50s judging by the lower engine air intakes but only singles suggesting a much cooler climate than Australia. The safari front windscreens are an addition, the factory didn't fit anything like that, enough trouble keeping the water outside with the original split windscreens without adding hinges at the top and modified door seals around the windowsSteveW wrote:I think this photo will make you sad, Terry!
