At Blackwater topping up and emptying out. Dam hot here but a nice breeze. Will be having afternoon tea in about half an hr. Rotten roads abound.

I guess you aren't staying at the Showgrounds at Blackwater Dot, but if you do, make sure you do not pay the 'caretaker' when he visits.

That trip across the Hay plains against the wind is a killer on the fuel bill, the poor Ford Cargo carrying the container couldn't quite hold 60km/h in 6th, so a drop back to 5th every few kms to wind it up again sure ripped into the fuel. Filled at Wagga, again at Narrandera, again at Hay and again at Balranald, then the wind dropped and travel speed/fuel consumption returned to normal.
Have to do it all again beginning of next mth.

You aren't far away now, see you tomorrow some time? Enjoy the roller coaster bumpy ride between there and Tailem Bend, we have given up travelling that way and prefer the Mildura to Remark, Sedan and Mannum route as it's a lot smoother

Keep warm you two. Had to have a lay down after a roast lamb lunch. Got a bit hot for me today. Peacocks and parrots all came in for their hand outs. A balmy 23 deg now 8.30pm Terry have you found that parcel yet??
