What a weird night last night, went to bed with all windows/ doors open, not a breath of natural air woke up to a gale but it was a lovely cool one so I just closed windows a tad then went back to bed listening to the trucks and the wind outside. This morning brings the sun but still the cool breeze so off now into goondi. Brrrrr it is cold outside Bad internet coverage here, slow and spasmodic.. Thanks for the link Bruce

Stopped in Walgett for cuppa T and to adjust the mirror that was blown out of position due to some strong wind gusts on the road between Collarenebri and Walgett, it is raining at present and there is a lot of water around the place. Heading off now to find a nice firm gravel pit for the night. Coldest day we have had since we left home 3 mths ago, it is a chilly18 deg in the bus

Oh my it is hot right now, no breeze what so ever here in our beautiful gravel pit. Stopped last night at The Meadow Glen rest area # 902. red dirt, a dead black pig, a goanna up a tree and a mom & dad parrot feeding their baby plus a long drop loo but there was trees and NO internet etc. Headed off down towards Wilcannia , passed a rest area with no name in book bit was well covered in sign lingo and just red dirt so we doodled on till I spotted this gravel pit....Not much internet either = 1 bar so not going to be on here long till it conks out.. Hey Bernie the sat dish is working fine watched the yanks debate today no comment as it is political In the last 2 days I have re connected with 2 people I haven't seen in decades, 1 was in Coffs H (left NZ) that's why I couldn't find her and the other lady is a midwife I worked with back in SA and she is charge at the Cobar & Bourke hosp and we caught up for a few minutes.. Dropping out so catch yus later down the line, Goodnight everyone x

Stopped for lunch just out of Wilcannia and will go straight through Cool breeze and even a tail wind today. Lots of cute little goats, emu's and roos around here. Road is terrible but not very busy. Saw a roo stuck in a fence so gladly stopped and cut the wire so it hopped off happily. Motto always carry wire cutters..

Bad bad internet coverage here in Silverton so what I was wanting to know is where if any truck roadhouses are around here? I asked on CF if someone could pass on Chris R's info but so far nothing. He would know as he is from Broken hill where we are sending this from:) Also what is good for removing tar off the car and bus please??
